Starling Bank Launches Agentic AI Assistant

Starling Bank has introduced Starling Assistant, an in-app agentic AI feature that lets customers use natural-language and voice prompts to automate tasks like setting savings goals, organizing payments, and analyzing transactions. The feature, initially available to personal current account holders, runs on Google Gemini within Google Cloud, keeps customer data in-bank, and requires user opt-in. Starling plans to extend access to business and joint accounts.
