South Korea Hosts Italian Leader For Summit

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are set to hold summit talks Monday in Seoul, following Meloni's arrival Saturday for a three-day visit. The leaders will focus on cooperation in trade, investment and cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, defense and semiconductors, Cheong Wa Dae said. The meeting marks the first Italian leader's bilateral summit in 19 years and the first European visit since Lee took office.
