Shopify Launches Tinker For Merchant Creativity

Shopify launched Tinker on March 26, a free mobile app that consolidates more than 100 specialized AI tools into a single guided environment for merchants to create brand assets, storefront visuals, social content and 360-degree product views. Tinker uses prompt-abstraction and curated examples, draws on OpenAI, Google and Anthropic models, preserves session continuity, and aims to reduce asset production costs for Shopify's 4.8 million active merchants as agentic discovery grows.
