Sarvam AI Releases Sarvam Kaze Smart Glasses

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried Sarvam Kaze, India’s first AI-powered smart glasses developed by startup Sarvam AI, at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The indigenous wearable, slated to debut in India in May, runs a homegrown Sarvam Edge on-device AI model designed for offline, low-latency inference and supports voice, audio-visual capture and developer platform ambitions. The startup is among 12 firms selected by the government to develop AI models trained on Indian datasets.
Key Points
- 1Introduces Sarvam Kaze smart glasses, showcased to PM Modi at India AI Impact Summit 2026
- 2Highlights indigenous on-device Sarvam Edge AI model, enabling low-latency and offline AI processing
