Samsung Adds Digital Home Key For Aliro Locks

Samsung is adding an Aliro-based Digital Home Key to its Wallet app on Galaxy devices, announced for select regions this month. The feature supports NFC and ultra-wideband (UWB) unlocking for compatible smart locks that adopt the Aliro open standard run by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). The change broadens Digital Key beyond vehicles and encourages smart-lock makers to integrate with Galaxy devices.
