Swiss drugmaker Roche announced it operates more than 3,500 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs dedicated to drug development, aiming to accelerate molecular simulation, candidate selection, and clinical-trial optimization. The deployment—largest publicly disclosed in pharma—supports Roche’s push to advance four obesity and Type 2 diabetes candidates toward pivotal Phase 3 trials and to challenge Eli Lilly’s GLP‑1 franchise.
