Reliance Jio Predicts AI Reshapes India's Digital Infrastructure
Shyam Prabhakar Mardikar, CTO Mobility at Reliance Jio, said on Tuesday at the AI Impact Summit that convergence of connectivity and compute, with AI layered on top, will reshape how citizens, enterprises and governments interact in India. He argued India is nearly a decade ahead in population-scale digital platforms such as Aadhaar and digital payments, and that AI on nationwide digital rails could improve decision-making, public service delivery and targeted welfare.
