Reliance Jio Commits $110 Billion Datacenter Build

Reliance Jio announced at India's AI Impact Summit that it will spend $110 billion over seven years to build multiple gigawatts of datacenter capacity for AI workloads. Chairman Mukesh Ambani said the investment aims to cut compute scarcity and cost to deliver extremely affordable consumer AI services. Jio also outlined partnerships involving OpenAI and Tata-operated datacenters.
