Rear Admiral Urges Engineers To Strengthen Preparedness

Rear Admiral Vikram Menon, speaking at VTU’s 25th convocation in Belagavi on Monday, urged engineers to strengthen national preparedness through sustainability, resilience and new technologies. He highlighted VTU’s curriculum emphasis on AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and a proposed Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence plus an MoU with the Navy. The event conferred 8,702 degrees and officials said about 2,000 education posts will be filled soon.
