RCMA Editors Resign Over Publisher Acquisition

Editors of the materials journal Revue des Composites et des Matériaux Avancés resigned on January 5 after its 2018 purchase by the International Information and Engineering Technology Association, a resignation email signed by Francis Collombet and 22 other board members said. They allege IIETA increased publications and APCs and restricted peer-review access, with annual articles roughly doubling and authorship shifting away from France toward Iraq, Algeria and India.
