Raspberry Pi Releases Branded USB Drives
Raspberry Pi today launched branded USB flash drives available in 128GB and 256GB capacities, the company said, selling for $30 and $55 respectively. Raspberry Pi claims sustained write speeds of 75MB/s (128GB) and 150MB/s (256GB), plus 16k–22k 4k random IOPS, USB 3.0 Gen1 Type‑A interface, UAS and SMART support; drives can be bootable but longevity/MTBF data is not provided.
Scoring Rationale
Official Raspberry Pi product launch with practical bootable storage; limited novelty and missing write-longevity/MTBF data.
