Putin Urges Development Of Russian Bioeconomy Strategy

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Future Technologies Forum on February 25 that scientists are working on artificial human organs but creation of an "alive heart" remains distant. He called for removing bureaucratic obstacles to vaccine development, accelerating a national bioeconomy strategy through 2050, supporting domestic biotech firms, and funding AI-enabled bioinformatics for agribusiness and healthcare.
