Prime Minister Calls For Sustainable Inclusive Development

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday urged renewed global commitment to sustainable, inclusive development at a Vienna UN event, saying converging crises — geopolitical hostility, climate stress and technological disruption — threaten peace and prosperity. He highlighted Pakistan’s vulnerability despite contributing under one percent of global emissions, recalled the 2022 floods, affirmed SDG integration into national planning, and signed UNIDO, UNODC and IAEA cooperation agreements.
