postmarketOS Updates Governance And Forbids Generative AI
postmarketOS published a FOSDEM 2026 recap and hackathon summary on decisions made during the event, including governance and policy changes. The project said it will change its AI policy to explicitly forbid generative AI use and plans to reorganize power delegation—renaming the current Board, creating a legal-entity board, and forming an assembly of Trusted Contributors. PMCR 0008 will be updated and discussed further.
