Pakistan Advances Digital Economy With AI Focus

ISLAMABAD, Mar 25 — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Mar. 25 to discuss initiatives to advance Pakistan’s digital landscape, the government said. The meeting, attended by Federal IT Secretary and Pakistan Digital Authority Chairman Dr. Muhammad Sohail, emphasized AI, cybersecurity, and a cashless economy under the prime minister's oversight. Officials also highlighted programs to train youth in artificial intelligence to prepare them for the digital economy.
