Organisations Face Agentic AI Readiness Execution Gap

AWS, partnering with Harvard Business Review Analytic Services, published survey results of 623 business decision-makers showing high expectations but low readiness for agentic AI, with respondents forecasting AI investment growing from $5.2 billion in 2024 to over $190 billion by 2034. While 84% expect transformation and 79% plan increased investment, only 26% say they are very effective using AI and just 13% rate their data architecture as well-equipped, prompting recommendations to invest in data, talent, trust, and clear success metrics.
