Oracle Embeds Agents Into ERP Workflows

Oracle has begun deploying "Fusion Agentic Applications," AI agents embedded in its cloud ERP suite, that execute workflow tasks such as reconciling transactions and handling procurement. The shift moves enterprise software from copilots toward autonomous operators, enabling automated actions when configured conditions are met. Enterprises may reduce delays and overhead but must address auditability, explainability, and limits on agent authority.
