OpenMind Partners With Chinese Robotics Firms
OpenMind, a US company behind OM1—an open-source, AI-native robot operating system—is collaborating with Chinese manufacturers including Unitree, UBTech, AgiBot, LimX Dynamics, Booster Robotics and Engine AI to help them expand into Western markets, the South China Morning Post reported. The hardware-agnostic, multimodal OM1 platform and US-based software hosting aim to ease regulatory, commercial and technical hurdles while providing localized marketing support.
