Nvidia Unveils Rubin Ultra With 1TB Memory

Nvidia on Monday demonstrated Rubin Ultra, a next-generation data-center GPU tray due in 2027 that combines four compute chiplets and 1TB of HBM4E memory, making it the industry's first AI accelerator with a terabyte of onboard memory. The company also unveiled Kyber, a vertical, liquid-cooled rack-scale platform that packs 144 Rubin Ultra GPU packages, upgrades NVLink to a 7th-generation switch, and promises at least four times the performance of current NVL72 systems.
