NTU Launches Three Space Technology Demonstrations

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is launching three space projects under the national Space Technology Development Programme, announced Feb. 3, 2026. The initiatives include a 3U nanosatellite with an onboard edge-AI image processor and perovskite solar-cell tests, a 16U manoeuvring satellite with Aliena's ion engine and atomic-oxygen detector, and an optical LEOCAM payload for ISS validation. Projects start in 2026 and run three years.
