Musk Proposes Lunar Factory For xAI Satellites

Elon Musk told xAI employees at a Tuesday night all-hands that the company needs a lunar manufacturing facility to build AI satellites and launch them via a giant catapult, according to The New York Times. He argued the moon factory would provide greater computing capacity to train large-scale intelligence, while xAI faces departures including six of its 12 founding members leaving.
