Midmarket CFOs Adopt Generative AI For Finance

Mid-market CFOs are rapidly adopting generative AI to automate core finance functions, according to a PYMNTS Intelligence report cited by the World Economic Forum last month. The survey shows high adoption across ten areas — 87% for financial reporting and capital management, 85% for working capital optimization, and 70–83% for planning, treasury, tax, risk, cost control, and governance — driving faster closes and stronger compliance.
