Meta Hires Gizmo Team For Superintelligence Labs

Meta confirmed it hired the engineering team behind Gizmo, the AI 'vibe-coding' app from Atma Sciences, earlier this year, and the staff will join Meta's Superintelligence Labs unit led by Alexandr Wang and Nat Friedman. Atma Sciences, founded in 2024, raised about $5.48 million according to a 2025 SEC filing; Meta also holds a non-exclusive license to Gizmo's technology.
