Luminate Reports Premium Streams Concentrated in Four Countries

Luminate's 2025 year-end data shows global on-demand audio song streams topped 5.1 trillion, with paid subscription streams concentrated: the US, Mexico, Brazil and Germany accounted for 48.9% of premium streams, and the US alone made up 31%. The report also highlights rapid premium growth in India (up 42%), 253 million tracks hosted on streaming services, and US vinyl sales rising 8.6% to 47.9 million.
