Kris Stern Becomes Jenkins GSoC Mentor
Software engineer and astrophysicist Kris Stern on April 3, 2026 volunteers to serve as a Google Summer of Code (GSoC) project mentor for the Jenkins organization. Stern previously contributed to GSoC in 2019 and 2020, holds a PhD in observational astronomy from the University of Hong Kong (2021), and lists expertise in Python, C++, AI/deep learning, computer vision, web and Qt development.
