Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine & Diabetes on March 20 at MVCON 2026 in Chennai for his contributions as a medical professional, author and diabetes advocate. The award, his second lifetime honour after July 2024, was presented at the inaugural MVCON 2026 that drew over 700 delegates and highlighted diabetic foot disease and multidisciplinary care credited with preventing more than 100,000 lower-limb amputations.
