India's white-collar hiring rose 3% year-on-year in January 2026, the Naukri JobSpeak Index showed, climbing to 2,637 points from 2,550 a year earlier. Growth was driven by non-IT sectors and fresher recruitment—fresher hiring rose 8% while BPO/ITES led sector gains with a 21% increase; hospitality, insurance and healthcare also expanded.
