India Proposes Infrastructure Risk Guarantee Fund
In her Budget 2026 speech on Sunday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed an Infrastructure Risk Guarantee Fund to provide partial credit guarantees to lenders and unveiled nearly $133 billion of investments to upgrade infrastructure and boost manufacturing.
