India Joins Pax Silica Securing AI Supply Chains
India signed the United States-led Pax Silica declaration on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi during U.S. Under Secretary Jacob Helberg's Feb. 20–21 visit. Launched in December 2025, Pax Silica coordinates trusted partners across semiconductors, critical minerals, AI infrastructure and advanced manufacturing to reduce supply-chain dependencies. India's accession is intended to deepen U.S.–India economic ties and enhance resilient technology supply chains for AI and related industries.
