IAG Drives AI-First API Migration Program

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) is moving roughly 600 APIs onto MuleSoft’s Anypoint API Experience Hub as part of a broader transformation to integrate platforms and improve governance. Speaking at Salesforce’s Agentforce World Tour Sydney, IAG’s head of integration Lloyd Thomas said the insurer aims to adopt AI prompt-driven and agentic tools to boost engineering productivity while managing regulatory safety. The initiative responds to open banking needs and the 2020 Optus API breach lessons.
