Heifer Korea Expands Milk-for-School Program in Bangladesh

Since 2023 Heifer Korea has run the Milk for School program in Sirajganj, Bangladesh, supplying fortified yogurt to primary students while sourcing milk from women-led cooperatives. The program now feeds 1,245 students in Bangla Union and will serve an additional 1,017 in Salanga, providing about 30% of daily iron, iodine, zinc and vitamin A and boosting cooperative income. It also won a 2024 award for refrigerated last-mile delivery.
