Google Expands Pixel Journal AI Features

Google will bring onboard generative AI features to Pixel Journal on Pixel 9 devices as part of the March 2026 Pixel Drop. The update adds Reflections, Revisit Topics, and Mood ID — features previously limited to the Pixel 10 line — enabling automatic mood emoji tagging and topic recommendations. The change lets Pixel 9 users track mood trends and access AI-driven journaling prompts.
