Google Embeds Gemini Across Workspace Apps
Google is embedding its Gemini AI assistant more deeply into Google Workspace, rolling out new features to Workspace and AI plan subscribers starting now. The updates add a Gemini chat window in Docs, full spreadsheet generation and analytical assistance in Sheets, slide generation in Slides, and a Gemini-powered Drive search that provides AI overviews and file citations. These features are available in English to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and Workspace customers with Gemini Alpha enabled.
