Goldman Sachs Develops Anthropic-Powered Agents for Automation

Goldman Sachs has spent six months working with Anthropic to co-develop autonomous AI agents for accounting, trade reconciliation and client onboarding, CIO Marco Argenti told CNBC. The agents, built on Anthropic's Claude model, are expected to launch soon to speed process-intensive tasks and improve client onboarding while the bank reorganizes around generative AI. Management says job losses are premature to expect.
Scoring Rationale
Major bank adoption of Claude with official confirmation supports industry relevance, but early-stage pilot limits immediate impact.
