G42 Establishes $1bn AI Cloud Infrastructure In Vietnam
Abu Dhabi-based technology group G42 and a consortium including FPT Corporation and Viet Thai Group signed a framework agreement on Monday to invest up to $1 billion in sovereign AI and cloud computing infrastructure across Vietnam. The partners plan to build and operate three large-scale data centres providing high-performance AI and cloud services for public and private sectors, aimed at strengthening data sovereignty and Vietnam's regional tech role.
