FMI Appoints Shawgo To Lead Technology Practice
The Food Industry Association (FMI) appointed Jennifer Shawgo as senior director, technology strategy and programs, in a newly created role to accelerate responsible digital transformation across food retail. Shawgo will lead programs, partnerships and member engagement, including GroceryLab, to translate AI, retail media and digital commerce into practical playbooks and toolkits. FMI says the initiative will address data governance, privacy and interoperability challenges for retailers and suppliers.
