Estonia Promotes AI Collaboration With India

In a Feb. 2026 interview with The Times of India, Estonia President Alar Karis said Estonia is widely using AI in education and seeks collaboration with India, highlighting the country's citizen-centric digital services and trust-building approach. He cited initiatives such as AI Leap in every school, partnerships with OpenAI and Google, and said digitalisation raised GDP about 5%, while urging international AI regulation and stronger data privacy.
