Enforcement Directorate Secures High PMLA Conviction Rate
The Enforcement Directorate reported a 94.82% conviction rate in Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) cases involving 123 accused as of December 31, 2025, the Union government said in a written Rajya Sabha reply. The reply said ED recorded 5,158 investigations since 2020–21, filed 1,960 prosecution complaints, and is using technology, including AI, OSINT and forensic tools, to fast‑track complex financial probes.
