Elevator Industry Embraces AI For Operational Optimization

FIELDBOSS and Elevator World recently surveyed hundreds of elevator professionals and found technicians lead AI usage at 33%, service companies around 20%, and consultants at 14%, with one-third exploring. Respondents prioritized remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and regulatory tracking while citing fragmentation, reliability, and cost as main barriers; nearly 40% expect AI to be very important for margin protection in the next 2–5 years.
