Disney Entertainment co-chair Dana Walden said Thursday that Disney is investing $1 billion in OpenAI and will license more than 200 Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars characters to OpenAI’s generative video platform Sora in a three‑year deal starting in early 2026.
