Crusoe Builds 900MW AI Factory in Abilene

Crusoe said Friday it is developing a new 900 megawatt AI factory campus in Abilene, Texas, to support Microsoft, expanding one of the largest U.S. AI infrastructure hubs. The adjacent expansion will add two buildings, onsite power and battery storage, and raise total site capacity to 2.1 gigawatts, with land clearing underway and the first building expected energized in mid-2027. The project includes ultra-high-density compute and closed-loop liquid cooling.
