Contextual AI Launches Agent Composer For Context Engineering

Contextual AI this week launched Agent Composer, an orchestration and infrastructure tool for building enterprise agents, CEO Douwe Kiela said. The company says Agent Composer manages context, enforces guardrails, and integrates distributed data stores, positioning "context engineering" (including RAG and MCP) as the new paradigm for retrieval and agent workflows. Enterprises such as semiconductor firms use these agents for root-cause analysis and engineering knowledge access.
