Consumers Embrace AI Platforms As Primary Assistants

PYMNTS Intelligence's December report, based on a survey of 2,113 U.S. adults across 54 personal tasks in nine life areas, finds more than 60% used dedicated AI platforms in the past year. It reports that one-third of Gen Z and Power Users often start tasks in AI, with 43% replacing older methods; one-third prefer linking digital wallets for AI-mediated payments.
