Conclave Highlights AI Applications Across Sectors

An international three-day conclave on 'Generative AI and the future of education 3.0' organized by the Higher Education Department and the Institute of Human Resources Development held its second day on Jan. 17, 2026, featuring talks by High Court judge Raja Vijayaraghavan V., Telecommunications SP Umesh Goyal, and TCS Responsible AI specialist Roopa Maliakal. Speakers described AI deployments in courts, policing, and personalised learning, and raised concerns about bias, privacy, academic integrity, and cognitive dependency.
