CNCF Updates Kubernetes AI Conformance Requirements
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation announced at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2026 an update to the Kubernetes AI Conformance Program, saying certified platforms nearly doubled from 18 to 31, including OVHcloud, SpectroCloud, JD Cloud and China Unicom Cloud. The release codifies v1.35 Kubernetes AI Requirements (KARs) focused on hardware orchestration, agentic workload validation, in-place pod resizing and workload-aware scheduling; roadmap adds automated testing and sovereign AI standards.
