Cloudflare Acquires Astro Team To Advance Framework
Cloudflare announced Friday it will acquire the Astro Technology Company team, which develops the open-source JavaScript framework Astro. The Astro team will join Cloudflare as employees while the framework remains open source, the company said. Cloudflare emphasized Astro's Island architecture and UI-agnant approach for fast, content-driven sites used by brands like IKEA, Visa and OpenAI.
