Cloud Native Developers Reach Nearly 20 Million

At KubeCon Europe this week, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation published a report estimating 19.9 million cloud-native application developers, representing 39% of the global developer community. The CNCF finds a 28% increase from six months earlier (15.6 million), with backend developer adoption and infrastructure standardization rising. A concurrent SlashData survey shows lower direct container (40%) and Kubernetes (27%) experience, suggesting growth may be driven by platform abstractions.
