Cinematic Media has signed Canadian filmmaker Charlie Tyrell to represent him across all media following the Sundance premiere of his feature debut, The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist. Co-directed with Daniel Roher and produced by Daniel Kwan, Jonathan Wang and others, the film will play SXSW and opens theatrically via Focus Features on March 27. The deal expands Cinetic’s management roster.
