China Strengthens Energy Security Through Renewables
According to a recent report from the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research at Beijing Institute of Technology, China is projected to reach 85 percent energy self-sufficiency by 2030 and expects coal and oil consumption to peak during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–30).
