China Resumes Beijing-Pyongyang Train Service After Pandemic Suspension

Train service linking Pyongyang and Beijing will resume Thursday for the first time since it was suspended six years ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an official at China State Railway Group told Yonhap on Tuesday. The service will run four times weekly, departing Beijing at 5:26 p.m. and arriving in Pyongyang at 6 p.m. the following day, primarily serving diplomats and official travelers.
